Born and raised in Iowa and having attended college in Kansas, my heart is rooted in the mid-west - albeit wandering. I happily worked in 37 states with my first job out of college, but it was Colorado that won out in the end. And so in 2014, I moved to Denver on a whim (along with every other millennial) and soon after, bought my first camera. I loved taking photos of Colorado’s mountainous landscapes that first year, then turned my sights to people - shooting weddings, engagements, families, all of you glowing pregnant gals, etc…Turns out, like a proper enneagram 7, if it has to do with people and places, I love it ALL.

The travel bug admittedly hits me pretty hard and I’ve shot in Europe, South America, Oceania and Africa. (Who wants to go to Asia and Antarctica?!) I’ve been blessed to be the primary photographer for a wonderful ministry that had taken me to Rwanda nine times in five years - yes, you read that right! Because of this, a big piece of my heart will always be in Africa.

What else is there to say? I’m a committed follower of Jesus. Love making people feel special and seen. I’m an aunt to two beautiful little girls. Self-described introverted extrovert, we all need the occasional laid out on the couch deep into a book day or Netflix binge right? I met Prince Harry once in Vegas but enough about me (these sections are always weird). I’d LOVE to meet you, hear your story, and what makes you come alive.
